How Our Network Works for Homeowners

Request an estimate from a provider

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent septic or sewer provider in our network. That is a local business with its own trucks, its own crew, and its own licensing. Missedcents Septic does not employ providers, and we do not do the work. We make the introduction, and then the conversation is between you and the provider.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, practical chat. The provider will usually ask:

  • What you are seeing, hearing, or smelling
  • When you last had the tank pumped, if you know
  • Where the tank and drainfield sit on the property
  • Whether water is backing up inside the house

Have your answers handy. Old paperwork, a sketch of the yard, or a photo of a soggy spot can speed things up. Request a callback to check provider availability.

What to Ask a Provider

First-timers often freeze up here. Use this list.

  • Can you give me a written quote? Prices vary by job, so get it in writing.
  • What exactly is included? Ask about disposal, lid access, and any digging.
  • Are you licensed and insured for this work? Rules differ by area.
  • How soon can you come out? Many providers can respond quickly, but ask for a real window.
  • What could change the price? Buried lids, frozen ground, and flooded yards can all add work.
  • Will you help me document damage for a claim? Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

You Are in Control

You are never locked in. You can compare more than one provider, say no, or ask for time to think. If someone pressures you to sign on the spot, slow down. Pause, then plan.

Keep a few safe habits while you wait. Cut back on water use. Keep kids and pets away from soggy ground. Stay out of the tank area. Know where to stop.
